The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions towards the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed with regard to the large amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a significant range of clients/beneficiaries to here access SASSA services.

“This can be a result of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office dedicated to service the area on a daily basis. The company stage produced for intervention experiences a significant inflow of likely beneficiaries, which makes it complicated with the Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to permit the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
